The Vessel started out as HL 301 A 52.5' steam harbour launch. Double diagonal Teak on oak 52.5'x12.0'x3.6'. built in 1942 by Rowhedge Ironworks Ltd at Rowhedge (Yard No 610) for the Admiralty was turned into a tug in 1953 and still retains some of its features.
